This market will resolve to "Yes" if Donald Trump and Xi Jinping speak directly to one another between July 1, 6:00 PM ET and July 31, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".
Any conversation that occurs directly between Donald Trump and Xi Jinping will qualify, regardless of whether it is over the phone, videocall, or in person. The conversation must be voice-based, not text-based.
